7th day of Navratri: Goddess Kalratri
On the seventh day of Navratri, Goddess Kalratri is worshipped. She is the fiercest and the most ferocious form of Goddess Parvati. On this day, visit Goddess Kali’s temple and offer bhog to the Goddess while reciting the Durga Saptashati mantras. If you are unable to do so, you can recite Durga Chalisa.
8th day of Navratri: Goddess Mahagauri
On the eighth day of Navratri Goddess Mahagauri is worshipped. The name Mahagauri derives from the words Maha, which means great, and Gauri, which means radiant or fair. She fulfils the dreams of all her worshippers if you are just doing Navratri Puja for three days and fast on Durgashtami. On this day, you can also recite Durga Chalisa along with the Durga Saptashati mantras.
9th day of Navratri: Goddess Siddhidatri
On the Ninth and the last day of Navratri also known as Maha Navami, Goddess Siddhidatri is worshipped which is the 9th form of NavDurga. On Maha Navami, Goddess Durga is worshipped as Mahisasura Mardini which means the Annihilator of the Buffalo Demon.
