About Choghadiya Table

It is common to see the auspicious time before doing any work, but if any work has to be done in a hurry and there is a delay in seeing the auspicious time, then the work can be started after seeing the Choghadiya. Earlier Choghadiya was used only for traveling, but now in fast moving life, Choghadiya can be used before doing any auspicious work. There are four good Choghadiyas to start any auspicious work. These four Choghadiya Amrit, Shubh, Labh and Char are considered auspicious and perfect. Similarly, it is not considered good to work in three Choghadiyas. These Choghadiyas are disease, time and udvega. The time between sunrise and sunset is called the Choghadiya of the day and the time between sunset and sunrise the next day is called the Choghadiya of the night. The timing of these Choghadiya starts from sunrise to 1.30 hours.

About Vaar Vela, Kaal Vela and Kaal Ratri

There is also a time for Vaar Vela, Kaal Vela and Kaal Ratri in the Choghadiya of day and night. This Vaar Vela, Kaal Vela and Kaal Ratri can also happen during any auspicious Choghadiya. Vaar Vela and Kaal Vela predominate during the day time, while Kaal Ratri predominates during the night time. Manglik works done during this time are not fruitful. This time should be abandoned.

How to mark Choghadiya Good or Bad?

there are seven days in a week. According to astrology and Muhurta Shastra, each day has a ruling planet. The first Muhurta of every day is ruled by the lord of that day. To understand this with an example, the first Choghadiya Muhurta on Sunday is ruled by the Sun, the subsequent Muhurtas are ruled by Venus, Mercury, Moon, Saturn, Jupiter and Mars. The last Muhurta of the day is also ruled by the ruling planet of that day.

Actually, there are 24 hours in a day and Choghadiya is of 1.30 hours duration. According to astrology, Venus, Mercury, Guru and Moon are considered auspicious planets, so the first Choghadiya on these days will always be good, but Sun, Mars, Saturn are malefic planets, the first Choghadiya on these days will always be negative.

In astrology, the effect of Sun is generally considered inauspicious, that is why it is marked as Udvega. However, government work can be done in this Choghadiya.

Char Choghadiya

Venus is considered an auspicious and beneficial planet. Hence it is marked as variable or fickle. Due to the mutable nature of Venus, Char Choghadiya is considered most suitable for travel purpose.

Labh Choghadiya

Mercury is also an auspicious and beneficial planet, so it is marked as benefic. If the work of learning education or any learning is started in the choghadiya of profit, then it is fruitful.

Amrit Choghadiya

Moon is a very auspicious and beneficial planet. That is why it is marked as nectar. Amrit Choghadiya is considered good for all kinds of work.

Kaal Choghadiya

Shani is a malefic planet that is why it is marked as Kaal. No auspicious work should be done during Kaal Choghadiya. However, in some cases it can prove beneficial for activities undertaken for earning money.

Shubh Choghadiya

Jupiter is a very auspicious planet and it is considered a benefic planet. Hence it is marked as auspicious. Shubh Choghadiya is considered especially suitable for conducting marriage ceremonies.
