Harish Rawat was instrumental in the selection of the first Dalit CM of Punjab, it is stated. Now, he is trying to play the same card in his own state Uttarakhand. Some days ago, Rawat created ripples by announcing Charanjit Singh Channi as the first Dalit CM in Punjab.  Rawat has now announced that Congress may project a Dalit CM in Uttarakhand as well. However, will Rawat’s strategy work in the 2022 Uttarakhand Assembly Elections?

Rawat was born on Apr 27, 1948, in Almora, Uttarakhand. There are two factors strengthening his destiny: Venus and Jupiter which are in their own house in his horoscope.
