The Legend Of Kalki
Devotees believe that sage Bhrigu cursed Lord Vishnu. One day demons arrived at sage Bhrigu’s ashram to take shelter. When the Gods came to know about demons, they tried to attack them, but Bhrigu’s wife saved demons using her spiritual powers. Afterwards, Gods approached Lord Vishnu and sought help. Lord Vishnu immediately beheaded Bhrigu’s wife. When sage Bhrigu learned about his wife’s death, he cursed Lord Vishnu with sufferings. The curse was to suffer from the pain of losing his loved ones. And therefore, it is said that Lord Vishnu needs to enter the Earth in order to eliminate demons over again and again. So, we may see Lord Vishnu’s Kalki avatar before the beginning of Satya Yuga.
